Math In A Flash is an educational application designed to assist elementary school children in practicing fundamental math facts. The app offers options for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with numbers ranging from 0 to 12, making it suitable for early learners. Available on both iPhone and iPad, the iPad version conveniently supports both portrait and landscape orientations. The app features an engaging eagle and eaglet theme, enhanced by audio of real eagles communicating once a practice session is completed.

It's important to note that the app includes advertisements that are compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) as of version 1.0.11 and later. For users preferring an ad-free experience along with additional features, a premium variant of Math In A Flash can be identified by its green and yellow icon.

This application requires a minimum operating system of iOS 12.0.

Upon launching the app, users can customize their experience via the Settings screen, where they can:

 <li>Assign a name and personalized message for the child using the app; these details are displayed throughout.</li>
 <li>Select from addition, subtraction, multiplication, and/or division.</li>
 <li>Choose specific numbers to work with, ranging from 0 to 12.</li>
 <li>Explore special selections such as “doubles” (e.g., 6 + 6), “almost doubles” (e.g., 6 + 7), and “almost almost doubles” (e.g., 6 + 8).</li>
</ul>

This setup leads to four distinct practice areas:
<ul>
 <li>Flashcards: In this section, users are presented with problems and prompted to respond before verifying their answers.</li>
 <li>Time Me: Users can select the number of problems to answer within a set time frame. The app provides feedback on accuracy and speed, with "Eagle Speed" being three seconds or less per answer.</li>
 <li>Fact Families: The application randomly selects a fact family based on user settings and generates related problems for practice. For instance, if focusing on the family involving numbers 3, 4, and 12, problems would include variations like 3 + 4 and 12 - 4. Feedback is given upon completion regarding accuracy.</li>
 <li>Count By: Users select a number to count by and receive the first and twelfth numbers; they must fill in the intermediate values. Feedback includes how many were answered correctly on the first attempt.</li>
</ul>

This engaging approach to learning math aims to keep children motivated while solidifying their foundational skills.
